To clear the cache on Internet Explorer instruct the student to do the following:
Click on tools > select Internet Options > under browsing history click Delete > click delete all at the bottom > check the box in the window that pops up that says "Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons." Then select yes. > once it finishes close down Internet Explorer (all open windows of it).
Click tools > select clear all private data > make sure browsing history, cache, and cookies are checked > click clear private data now > close down Firefox and restart it.
Safari on Mac
- Open Safari.
- From the Safari menu, choose Empty Cache (Safari > Empty Cache).
- In the warning dialog that appears, click on Empty.
- Visit your site again or reload the page in Safari.
