How to Setup the Zoom LTI Pro Integration with Moodle?
It is possible to connect Zoom with Moodle via LTI integration, which is known as an external tool in Moodle. However, please note that Zoom is a third-party software that requires payment. Instructors hosting meetings must be part of your organizational Zoom license for this to work. To integrate Zoom with Moodle, you need to install the LTI Pro app. Also, make sure that you have a pro account for Zoom. Managing Instructors/Teachers
To ensure a smooth experience for teachers creating Zoom sessions from a Moodle course, it's important to add all your teachers in the admin window on Zoom.us. If you don't do this, the teacher will receive an error message asking them to register with your organization.
The Moodle and Zoom LTI integration does identify people based on their email addresses. Additionally, the integration does pass the role in Moodle of the person to Zoom to ensure people have the correct permissions in Zoom.

What if they have an existing Zoom Account?
Adding an existing Zoom user's email address will invite them to transfer the account under your institution without losing any data. You can choose the status of the added user as pro or basic.
Breakout Rooms
Breakout Rooms allow you to split a ZOOM online class into a maximum of 50 separate groups of students. This could be conducive to small group discussions among your students.
If you are using the ZOOM Moodle integration, please note that you cannot pre-assign students to specific breakout rooms before the class begins. However, you can assign students to different breakout rooms automatically or manually after the class has started. To ensure a smooth class experience, we suggest setting up breakout rooms during a class break.
Error Code 2216
Error Code 2216 appears when the ZOOM plugin mistakenly identifies your ZOOM account as being linked to other Google accounts that you may be using. Please log out all other Google accounts/services that you are currently using (including Gmail, Google doc, and so on) before going back to Moodle and launching the ZOOM activity again.
Error Code 1001
Error Code 1001 turns up if you do not have your organization's ZOOM account. Please go to https://zoom.us/signin#/login or your organization's zoom.us login and sign in with your ID to ensure you are logged in with your organization's ZOOM account.
